Thursday morning, and we’re at it again: assembling cupboards, cupboard doors and tables. It looked simple to start off with, but after seeing all the shelves and screws, you start to wonder what you’ve got yourself into. On the other hand, it would have been pointless to do just one model desk and leave the rest for the workers: that would probably have resulted in some wonderful constructions, but we doubt that they would have resembled desks or cupboards.
On Friday we’ll pick up again with renewed enthusiasm, after having discussed with Father Israels for a couple of hours. We’ve got meetings with other people on the project and are getting a good overview of the personnel, purchases and expenditure.
Here are some photos which are best sent in the evening, given the internet connection. It’s not fast, but I’ve managed to stay online nonstop for at least an hour, which is just not possible during the day.
